BREAKING PARADIGMS
Isaiah Chapter 2:11.
11. The lofty looks of man shall be humbled, and the haughtiness of men shall be bowed down, and the LORD alone shall be exalted in that day.
1 - Homo sapiens neanderthalensis had the BIGGER brain, that the present Sapiens Man.
The named Homo sapiens neanderthalensis existed between 230 000 to around 30 000 years. The average of the brain, 1450 cc, is significantly higher than the current man. The skull, however, is longer and it flatter than in modern humans, with a marked projection at the back of the skull.
As in the case of erectus, had a prominent jaw and a retracted forehead. The average area of the face is equal, in prominently, a feature that does not occur in erectus or sapiens, and may be connected to the adaptability to cold.
There are other less significant anatomical differences, when compared to the modern man, such as some peculiarities in the scapula and the pubic bone of the pelvis.
Neanderthals lived, mostly in cold climates, and their body proportions are similar at the current populations of cold regions: low and solid, with short limbs, facilitating the retention of heat.
The bones were strong and heavy, showing signs of a powerful muscle structure...
First paradigm was broken:.
Our "cousins" had a bigger brain than ours!
The Cambridge Declaration on Consciousness
The scientists went as far as to write up what's called The Cambridge Declaration on Consciousness that basically declares that this prominent international group of scientists agree that "Convergent evidence indicates that non-human animals have the neuroanatomical, neurochemical, and neurophysiological substrates of conscious states along with the capacity to exhibit intentional behaviors. Consequently, the weight of evidence indicates that humans are not unique in possessing the neurological substrates that generate consciousness. Non-human animals, including all mammals and birds, and many other creatures, including octopuses, also possess these neurological substrates." They could also have included fish, for whom the evidence supporting sentience and consciousness is also compelling (see also).
It's said that repetition is boring conversation but there's now a wealth of scientific data that makes skepticism, and surely agnosticism, to be anti-science and harmful to animals. Now, at last, the prestigious Cambridge group shows this to be so. Bravo for them! So, let's all work together to use this information to stop the abuse of millions upon millions of conscious animals in the name of science, education, food, amusement and entertainment, and clothing. We really owe it to them to use what we know on their behalf and to factor compassion and empathy into our treatment of these amazing beings.

QUEBRANDO PARADIGMAS
1 - Homo Sapiens Neanderthalensis tinha o cérebro MAIOR, que o Homem Sapiens atual.
O denominado Homo sapiens neanderthalensis existiu entre 230 000 e cerca de 30 000 anos. A média do cérebro, 1450 cc, é sensivelmente maior que a do Homem atual. A caixa craniana contudo é mais longa e baixa que nos humanos modernos, com uma marcante saliência na parte traseira do crânio. Como no caso do erectus, possuía um maxilar proeminente e uma testa recuada. A área média da face é de igual modo proeminente, uma característica que não se verifica no erectus ou no sapiens sapiens, e que poderá ser conectada com a adaptabilidade ao frio. Existem outras diferenças anatômicas menos significativas quando comparadas com o Homem moderno, como sejam alguns particularismos na omoplata e no osso púbico da pélvis.
Os neanderthais viveram maioritariamente em climas frios e as suas proporções corporais são semelhantes às das atuais populações das regiões frias: baixas e sólidas, com membros curtos, facilitando a retenção do calor. Os homens mediam em média 168 cm. Os ossos eram fortes e pesados, mostrando sinais de uma poderosa estrutura muscular.
Primeiro paradigma foi quebrado:

A Declaração de Cambridge sobre a Consciência e Senciência Animal
Os cientistas chegaram mesmo a escrever o que é chamado A Declaração de Cambridge sobre a Consciência que, basicamente, revela que este grupo internacional proeminente de cientistas concorda que "evidência convergente indica que os animais não-humanos têm os substratos neuroanatômicos, neuroquímicos, e neurofisiológicos dos estados conscientes, com a capacidade de exibir comportamentos intencionais. Por conseguinte, ao peso desta evidência, faca claro, que os humanos não são únicos em possuir os substratos neurológicos que geram consciência. Os animais não-humanos, incluindo todos os mamíferos e aves, e muitas outras criaturas, incluindo polvo, também possuem estes substratos neurológicos. " Eles também devem estar presentes em peixes, para quem também é convincente a evidência que apóia a senciência e a consciência (ver também ).
Diz-se que a repetição é conversa chata, mas agora há uma riqueza de dados científicos que faz com que o ceticismo, e, certamente, o agnosticismo, a anti-ciência deixem de torturar os animais. Agora, finalmente, o grupo de Cambridge, renomado, mostra que isso é assim. Bravo para eles! Então, vamos todos trabalhar juntos para usar essas informações para parar com o abuso de milhões e milhões de animais conscientes, em nome da ciência, da educação , da comida, diversão e entretenimento, e roupas. Nós realmente devemos isso a eles, usando o que sabemos, em favor de todos nós, que temos compaixão, empatia e Amor, na forma de nos relacionarmos com esses seres incríveis.
